Check that the remaining test time works for you

Consider the game itself as well as the remaining session when deciding whether to buy. Access to a short test has little practical value if your download will finish after it closes. The Closed Beta 02 page covers the event's scope.

Choose between a purchase and an invitation request

A request is a way to express interest. The WARDOGS store says Steam will notify applicants when the developer is ready for more participants. If you want to try the game before buying, submit the request and wait for an acceptance signal. Repeatedly reopening the page does not give you information about an unpublished place in a wave. If you choose to pre-order, check the current offer and the Steam account receiving the purchase before checkout.

Use the library to check what you actually received

Once you believe access has been granted, search your Steam library for WARDOGS and inspect the test entry. Keep the commercial game and the Playtest separate when describing what is missing.

If you only requested access and no test entry appears, you may still be waiting for a wave. If you pre-ordered under the advertised offer and cannot find the test, verify that you are checking the purchasing account before contacting support. Fully closing and reopening Steam is a reasonable refresh check; it is not proof that an entitlement problem has been fixed.

If your access still does not match the offer

Keep the purchase or invitation confirmation for a private support request, and describe which entry is visible in the library. Include the time and exact message if the test client reaches an error screen. Avoid posting order details or account credentials in a public discussion.

The useful distinction is whether access is absent, the download is incomplete, or the installed client cannot start a session. Report that state directly instead of purchasing another copy in an attempt to resolve an unexplained failure.
